this website is new. I'm currently working on building
the links and information. I realized that if I wait until
everything is "perfect," it will never happen . . . so . . .
I'm starting now with this page.

NOTE: Josephine's brother-in-law, Sam Caruso (Lena's husband), built two houses, side by side on Wool St. The 1930 census shows Sam's parents, Sam (Salvadore) and Nancy living in the other house at 127-1/2 Wool Street. At that time, Sam Jr. and Lena Turturici Caruso were living in Portland, OR (since 1914).

SAN FRANCISCO PROBATE RECORDS:

Jan 25, 1916 - Estate of Vincent, Joseph, Milton Turtureci (minors)
Aug 17, 1916 - Estate of Mariano Tortorici
(dec'd ?)

I don't know why Santa'a atty in San Francisco opened Mariano's estate
for probate on Aug 17, because CA death records give his date of death as Dec 17.
